i am so fucking tired and stressed out, sometimes i just wanna be a regular person not someone who has big responsibilities, i even pretend to be supergirl... i can only wear several hats but not all. yes i am ranting i just have to let it out

why i wont order margarita at agave anymore

last night we decided to have a bottle of san mig light after dinner to while away time while waiting for the rain to stop.since my office is near shangri-la we opted to drink at agave, the seats are mostly wet due to the heavy rain and we then just sat at the bar since we're just planning to have a bottle.

while we were drinking our 2nd bottle of miguel.. a server went in the bar with a bowl of ice cream, talking with the bartender while eating the ice cream using a scooping/serving spoon so i was thinking that oh well they're allowed to eat during their duty and even thought that the manager of the store was good cause earlier we saw other servers having a drink of their own margarita... well anyways this girl proceed to prepare a mixed drink and put another ice cream in her mouth then using the same spoon put a scoop of ice cream in the blender... and there again i was thinking oh ok so she can have her drink and put ice cream in her mix.... she and the bar tender keep on talking and the bartender even scold her for not putting crushed ice instead and proceed to share the ice cream with her, then put an additional scoop of ice cream in the mix (still using the same spoon ha), oh okay so he wants the mixed drinks with more ice cream so i thought...

but then the girl then proceed on preparing a margarita glass and that was when i realized to my disgust that that mix they were preparing was for a customer!!! ewwwness to the max!!! kawawa yun girlaloo na umorder nun drink na yun not knowing kun pano prepare yun drink nya! ugh!!! i would never ever order margarita at agave shangri-la mall anymore!

NTC implementing "per pulse"

what the heck is this advisory? so what is this NTC thingy that they will charge you per pulse instead of minutes? pupulsuhan ka ba nila habang may kausap sa phone?

yeah do whatever you want as if the consumers can do anything about anything except complain! i am soo busy i have so many problems right now and my mind is sooo full already kaya pwede ba tigilan na yan mga advisory and annoying spam/advertisements.

HSBC credit card glitch

i almost had a heart attack yesterday when i got home, just finished eating dinner and saw that i have a letter from HSBC, my eyes dilated and i swear my eyes turned bigger than araneta coloseum reading that i have exceeded my credit limit by over 100,000 pesos and my outstanding balance is almost 150,000 pesos! OMG i was freakin worried and i immediately thought that someone got hold of my credit card, but no my card is still sitting pretty on my wallet, and i am sure that my account wasnt hacked from the internet or somebody used it because i've never used my HSBC red master card in any online payment.

i remember that the last time i used my HSBC card was on 18th of august at sm san lazaro, and i even asked my brother to pay some of my dues last 20th of august. the letter i received was dated 19 august 2008, so i was like WTF!!!! *#$%%&^ i am billed by over a hundred thousand pesos and i didnt receive any call about this and i receive the letter just yesterday (26 august). a week (talk about how fast our mailing services are!!!) so imagine the thoughts running through my head on how could i stop whatever transaction transpired and i was already thinking of calling a lawyer cause there is no effin way that i am going to pay them for something i didnt purchase and i was thinking at the same time that OMG i should just have bought a macbook for myself then!

i was really racking my brain thinking who could have used my card and how could they have allowed such a thing, because normally once you have used up your allotted credit limit you're automatically declined right? and also, whenever you purchase something that is a huge amount, they usually call the subscriber and the bank for verification! that didn't happened or i didn't get any call or whatsoever. i was itching to call the collections department but they were close and is only open between 8:30-5:30 (talk about great service eh?)

so early morning i called up HSBC collections hotline and as soon as i gave my number the collecting agent immediately apologized for the letter that i have received (note that i have not informed them yet about the letter), seems that they have been getting calls about the incident and is apologetic about the "technical problem" and that according to the agent whose name is spencer romano (do HSBC hire people with showbiz sounding names?) well anyways, the guy said that it is now a know issue and that they had a technical glitch during the holidays which is last aug. 18. apparently all those affected by the said glitch are those who made a purchase using their master card credit card and swiped by the BDO machine. and he said that they already received a notice from BDO about the said problem. he again apologized for the inconvenience and i really told him that i almost had a heart attack and wasn't able to sleep last night because of their error!!! i was like you could have at least called your customers to assure them that there was an error blah blah blah!!! you know what i mean. what if i really had a heart problem?

i even called their customer service just to make sure that my account is ok, and i was not overcharged or antyhing, the girl i spoke with (bhie) assured me that my account is not overcharged and that they have already amended the problem blah blah blah!!! apparently during the holidays the BDO machine swipe cards have erroneously charged you in US dollars instead of pesos, so like mine i purchase about 2500+ last aug 18 so they billed it as 2500USD! WOW

well whatevs, the fact is i had a sleepless night because of their error and they didnt even call their customers about this, instead they were waiting for their customers to call them!!! tsk tsk tsk what a bad service from HSBC (though the guys i spoked with this morning were ok) i'm talking about how HSBC's system fucked up!!!

i'm really annoyed at this and i hope that this wont happen again! or else i'll be the ninja in the photo and shove their cards up to their big fat asses!!!

G-Live sucks

i have been receiving this annoying flash or popup messages from Globe about some news and updates which i never wanted in the first place. i dont know how it got activated, i just started receiving those G-Live updates a few days ago and its driving me mad, giving me unwanted advisories every hour!

thank you internet and mighty Google, i now know how to turn off G-Live! "This Globe G-Live is a SIM feature that allows you to receive news and public service announcements. Information simply appears on the phone screen and doesn’t go to the inbox. To turn off the G-Live feature, go to phone Menu. Click GLOBE SVCS+, Click on G-Live then select ACTIVATION then click DEACTIVATE."

There you go folks, so to those who are pestered by that G-Live update you know what to do :) now my Sunday is complete hehehehe

coup d'etat your face

what a day!!! y'all know what that effin' Antonio Trillanes did today and just now the government declared curfew in the metro and nearby provinces, short of declaring martial law!!!

i was planning to go out with some friends tonight but had to cancel coz our management decided to send us home at 2PM after they learned that there were military tanks already at the manila pen (tis the first time they send us home early, our office is so near the rally area at makati and the rallyists are always literally in our doorsteps). but since the shortened period wasnt expected, we had to rush our deadlines for the day and it wasn't until 3:30 before i was able to leave the office.

as far as i know all offices within the area were already closed (feels like a weekend in makati), you can cross the street anywhere you like coz all underpasses are closed everytime there's a rally or something). i decided to take mrt since ayala is already closed and i dunno where the buses are and its too difficult to get a cab (the woes of getting taxi in makati is another story!) so me and my two colleagues walked to MRT station, here's some of the photos i took along the way.

photoshoot over, went inside glorietta to go to mrt station, and inside glorieta it was like there was no coup d'etat going on outside, feels like an ordinary day actually! and us being girls we cant help but look at some of the sale items, stopping at some store every now and then.. stopped at sanfo to buy on of these delicious chocolate coated apple.


we were looking at the tank tops in a booth located at the center when suddenly a lot of people were running towards us, rushing out (we're like five stores away from the exit) and i was afraid they'll run us over if we decided to go with the crowd so we stay put in that spot, (i now know how it feels to be at the center of a stampede!) then right after we heard a gunshot, not really sure if it was a gunshot but it made matters worse, the three of us huddled under the clothes while the people around us were running and some were screaming, panicking! When there were fewer people going out we stood up and went inside wrangler's boutique (nearest and across where we were) and after letting us in the staff there immediately closed the metal door. We were shaking inside and had no idea what was happening outside, after a few minutes (though it felt like hours) a guard peeked inside and told the store's staff to closed down. He opened the door and we really run outside.








so to you antonio trillanes may you rot in hell!!! for creating chaos and now you made more excuse for the government to declare martial law! coup d'etat your face!!! i dont like GMA either but pleaseeee stop being a nuisance and a fuckin asshole!

it just feels good to be home and safe... the last time i felt this appreciation that i have a home to go to at the end of a tiring and scary day was when milenyo ravaged manila.

am not superwoman you know.. .ok, sometimes i could be catwoman but never superwoman. i could be lois lane, heck, i’d love to be her. as i’ve been ranting before, why do they think that i’m superwoman and could make miracles in a blink of an eye!

anyways, for those of you who want to lose weight, get a job and go stress yourself of various deadlines, that would sure make you lose those fats! At it is I’m already having a hard time reaching my goal of 110 lbs which I reached eons ago and how I was jumping with glee but then just last month it dropped to 105, and when I checked today… oh boy! I’m just effin 100 lbs. anyone please donate your fats to me, I seriously need to gain weight.

missing Quentin Tarantino

Dang this work! The legendary Quentin Tarantino is here in the Philippines and I don’t have the time to stalk him! Goodness! Don’t know when he’ll leave or if he has already left the country, It just sucks that I’m stuck here in the office! I only get to follow him through news and I just can’t believe that he rode a pedicab to escape traffic on the flooded streets of manila last wednesday! You gotta admire the man!
