i dunno what's wrong with my pangkins - kalurkey sila!!! remember this post, when chelsea put thumbtacks inside her nose?

well guess what? this time around it's gabriel who did something stupid! apparently he put a piece of rice, yup as in bigas, inside his ears! he asked the help of his older cousin, my other pangkin to give him something to remove it and told him not to tell us grown-ups whats going on, but thankfully my SIL saw it today and riza was able to remove it using an ear pump or irrigation, dunno whats the medical term.

coin divers at calapan

just got home from a tiring travel from mindoro but i just have to blog about these kids...

i used to see tons of kids waiting at calapan port, just beside the docked ships, asking the ships' passengers for some coins, and i used to wonder with envy those kids who can swim like a fish and able to get those coins being thrown at them...

and i thought that was before, like some 15 years ago, i thought wiht the new port authorities they already stopped coin diving, and the last 2 times i visited mindoro - i didnt see these kid divers... but now, seeing them again doing the same stuff i no longer feel envious with the kids... not that because i am older now but i do really feel pity for them....

the sun is scorchingly hot but i know that these waters are cold, i wonder what will happen to thier young bodies with these conditions....

for just a few coins these kids are exposed to all sorts of danger in their health and life :(

and i shouldn't have given them money but i couldnt help myself to tossed out all the coins i can find in my pockets to them...

LOL) this  chelsea, my two year old niece, doing her stuff inside a fitting room, i swear i didnt asked her to pose for me like that, she did it on her own (tsk tsk tsk likas na maarte talaga itong batang to! hahaha)

generation X, Y, or Z?

since i got a lot of comments on my blast from the past post, i figured that most of my readers or bloggers in general are within my age group :)

btw, the photo was taken at rizal park... do you remember when the in thing before or the place to be is at luneta (yes, i still call it luneta hehehe), do you remember when as a kid, you get really excited when your parents tell you to sleep early because you will go to luneta and have a picnic, have a grand time just watching the fountain and those skaters (uh huh it used to be a skating rink where lapu lapu statue stands now) ... and you know that after the picnic you'll visit manila zoo? well i did!

pinoy ako

found this old video of my nephews singing pinoy big brothers "pinoy ako" from my nilulumot na baul. taken on 16 february 2006. i found them really cute and they know the lyrics of the song, singing their hearts out while playing their guitars!

that's christian (my eldest nephew), hendrix (my cousin's son), and the smallest bald kid is gabriel (my bro's kid). they were aged 3, 5, and 1, respectively when the video was taken.

jollibee's soldiers

my super kulit pangkins playing around with jollibee bucket, putting anything and everything inside then keep on running back and forth... after a while CK put the bucket on his head and made it a hat, and so our mischievous Chelsea followed her brother and together they march around the house to our delight!

and my old pangkins wouldnt want to get over shadowed by those two little rascals, they waited for CK and Chelsea to get tired of playing with the buckets and they wear the "hats" too. i swear these kids really love jollibee!!! (well so am i hehehe)
