I wont let go of my family and my friends. Hurt me and I wouldn’t flinch but hurt the ones I love and all hell will break loose! I’m not afraid of dying (after all I have 9 lives) but I’m really scared to lose those closest to me.

I wont let go of hope. Hope keeps me going, I at times may sound pessimist…even cynic, but the foolish kid in me doesn’t give up in hoping that someday everything will turn out just fine, if not perfect.

I wont let go of me. I may be weird and all that but I wont give up those things that I believe in just to conform to the norms of the society. I am not perfect but I am unique.

Project Lafftrip Laffapalooza

I recently found Kwentong Barbero's blog and his posts made me laugh so hard and i've been hooked since then. I'm pretty sure you've come across his abode already but if not yet and you need a laugh fix go and visit his blog.

pinoy big briber walk

Remember this post, yeah it happened today. Around lunch time we went to ninoy aquino's statue and saw people gathering already for the International Day of Protest Kontra panggago . Unfortunately i can only join them at that spot because I have a deadline this afternoon and cant join their walk to post office. My consolation is that i was able to persuade my officemates to wear black today for this event and most of them arrived in black clothes at the office except for those who forgot! I hope this event made an impact to the "kapalmuks" people in our government.

N.B. i forgot to tell before in my post that i learned about this walk from market manila's site. Saw people wearing MarketManiac's shirts and was wondering who is MM there. =)

so depressing

This news is just soooo depressing. i cried when i read her story and more so when i read a part of this little girl's diary. Ganito na ba kahirap ang buhay ngayon for a mere child to end her life? And it is more depressing to know there are more Mariannets here in the philippines - living in poverty and despair, and worst i can do nothing to help!

*fkj$**@&*D*# the government and i wish that all politicians die to rot in hell! that was my initial reaction - blame the government, afterall the government should take care of its people diba, knowing how corrupt our politicians are i don't know how they can sleep well at night.

the entry in her diary that she just needed a 100 pesos for her project kept on nagging at me... that amount is not even enough to buy me my favorite cup of coffee at starbucks! I know this is hypothetical but had she asked me for money would i give her 100 pesos? No, i'd rather buy something stupid and other irrelevant things than give my hard earned money to someone i dont know. How many times have i ignored street children begging for alms? how many times have i looked away when someone is tapping in the window of the cab i'm riding? aren't we all to blame for not stepping out of our way to help? I do feel guilty.

Poverty is a fact of life i know that, but what can i do? what can we do to help erase poverty?

a night with a queen

Wheee! Finally na-meet ko na ang nag-iisang Reyna Elena ng bayan! And she is really gorgeous in person. No wonder maraming nababaliw sa kanya! I swear, kung di ko lang alam kulay ng dugo nya na-inlove na ko (diba Malen?) :)

We met at Eastwood (kahit di ko lam un lakas loob ang lola nyo na pumunta just to meet her majesty) and there she was waiting at Mc Café. Nakakaloka nga since first time ko lang mapunta dun eh sa loob ng Mcdo ako pumasok di ko makita un daan papunta sa Reyna! Ekkk mali pala un pinasukan koh! Eh malay ko ba kc na iba un door nun Mc Café! Syempre pagkakita ko sa Reyna niyakap ko agad ang lola nyo at kiniss sya (tsinansingan ko bwahaha). Ito po ang pruweba na nakapiling ko ng isang gabi ang reyna, nyahaha!

Anyhu, supposed to be eh grand EB kagabi, pero puro mga Indian pala un mga kausap namin... kaya ayun 3 lang kami nina Malen! Hehe syempre adik sa piktyur meron din kami pose magkasama. Sayang nga lang kc kelangan pumasok later in the evening ng kagandahang Malen dahil kung hindi eh babagsak ang kanilang kumpanya!

Anyways, ako ang naging saksi sa bayaran between Rainier and Malen. (click here to read the story kun bakit me bayarang naganap!)

The 3 of us had dinner at Italianni's, and if you've seen her moves grabe! She has mastered the art of telling I Love You, and i swear her social climbing skills really work! Proof: me date sila ngayon ni Lennon!!!

Us, social climbing at its finest hehehe. Photoshoot inside the restaurant (we're the only customer that night and the manager offered to have our pictures taken sa lahat ng sulok ng store nila and we willingly obliged, adik sa piktyur eh) which embarrassed Malen so much hehehe.

Kaso mukhang di talaga pwede eh. Look at his reaction after Malen proposed to him! Oh di ba nakakaloka. But it wont stop me from promoting their love team! No offense Ambo, but i prefer Rainier-Malen tandem better. OMG, love triangle talaga toh! LOL

It was really a night to remember and we had so much fun... We stayed up till 2AM just talking and drinking. Reyna Elena is the best! I've learned a lot from him that night (kaso secret kun ano un mga tinuro nya sa akin hehehe). I Love You!!! =)
