no secret ingredient

i'm having a McDonald's diet again, yeah breakfast, lunch, and most prolly my dinner will come from McDonald's again! i could have a McDo meal for consecutive days, not because i really love McDo over Jollibee but McDo is nearer my office. And i just have to have the shake shake fries again after i watched the movie Kung Fu Panda last night.

i love this movie, i swear you'll like this movie too, doesnt matter if your young or just young at heart. reminds me of my favorite anime movie Spirited Away. And i love Po, "the" big fat panda (reminds me of my paopao hehehe).

My favorite line in the movie is "There is NO secret ingredient. To make something special, you just have to believe it is special."

all these can be found at baguio, *sigh* i wish baguio is just a stones throw away from manila so i can have a taste of fresh strawberry, and another taste at strawberry flavored taho (i wanna make sure that i dont really like it hehehe)... and of course visit the strawberry field and sing "strawberry fields forever" while holding a bunch of sunflower ... wala lang nangungulet lang! geesh i really wish i could get away from the city this weekend! have a nice weekend everybody...

well they've taken it to the next level and brought the catchy phrase in print, inside a bus to be exact =) cant help but smile when i saw these stickers plastered in ever seat inside the bus


there were other phrases plastered but i guess i found the perfect model of "layo ng tingin ah! pa-cheeseburger ka naman!" wheee

last supper at cuillere

last saturday night i went out with my friends... a farewell and what seems to be my my last supper with lisa at cuillere in serendra... it didnt matter that it was raining hard and that typhoon frank is making mayhem on this tropical island... i just have to go out and bid my friend farewell :(

and we have to dine of course at cuillere, a place we love because the staff are attentive and well the food they serve are great! as in, wala pa kami na-order dito na sablay, lahat masarap. cuillere (kwee-yer) - french word for spoon, choice utensil for filipinos (though they dont have spoon ready at the table, just fork and knife hehehe)

i had tenderloin steak on a bed of spinach and artichokes with blue cheese (syempre di ko kinain un gulay noh)
of course it was a celebration and a farewell dinner kaya dapat me wine


me and che (parang ang taba naman dito, nag-gain agad kami ng weight? hehehehe)

after dinner we proceed to klownz at quezon avenue. it was already julia clarete performing when we arrived and after 30minutes it was already allan k and the talentadings performance... the show is great as always when allan k is performing, but somehow i didnt enjoyed the show that night. there was even a time when we used to spend almost every night at zirkoh (a stand up comedy bar in greenhills) and always enjoyed the shows but this night is different - maybe its because i know that this will be my last night out with lisa waaaaaaaa.

i will surely miss you my friend... wala na akong mahahatak kapag napapa-praning ako, or whenever im just feeling silly and want to go on a road trip, have fun and get crazy at the beach.... someone who is just a text or call away and is ready to drink with me kahit di ka naman talaga nainom! huhuhuhu :(

waaaa you're leaving the shire!!! but you know you can come back anytime! i admire your guts for leaving everything behind and forging a new life in a far far away place... i wish you all the best! take care! (hoy mag-online ka agad pagdating mo jan!!!)

yao ming's arm span

was at serendra last night and we saw this tarpaulin of yao ming showing off his arm span of 7'5" - seems like a giant span ayt?

... but would you believe me if told ou that my arm span is that of a little giant as well, hehehe feels like im a spioder or a lastikman sometimes with my long arms!!! see - gosh my arm span is almost 6'!!!

one nice thing about having long arms? you get to help an old lady!!! i remember one instance before when i was in a jeepney, i was sitting in the middle of an 8 seater capacity jeepney and an old lady at the very back (near the estribo) pays and ako naman bilang mabuting mamayan inabot ko un pasahe nya, and no one near the driver is willing to take the payment from my hands (haller malinis naman ang kamay ko nun noh, baket ayaw nila abutin!!!) anywas since no one wanted to take the old lady's pament i stretch my arm and goodness abot ko rin un driver! so imagine kasinghaba ng kamay ko un length ng jeep nya!!!!

bata pa lang ako gusto ko ng maging maputi! as in! im soooo obsessed in having a fair white skin and wish upon a star that i'm white, blonde with blue eyes! just like those cute dolls and pretty hollywood stars! i've tried every lotion and soap out in the market just to have decent fair skin but hay sabi yata ni god maganda ka na gusto mo pang maging maputi, eh di dyosa ka na!!! LOL but seriously as in na-try ko na lahat, as in lahat pinapaniwalaan ko para lang pumuti... metathione and glutathione na lang hindi pa, mamya bibili ako sa mercury nun!
