happiness is just a state of mind right? but why is it so elusive? one moment you think that it's within your grasp, contented and secure that it'll last forever but next thing you knew it's gone - so why do we keep on trying to find happiness... when it is just a fleeting moment... but hey i gotta admit that it felt soo fuckin good while it last... that's why we get so addicted in trying to recapture and experience that euphoria again. there is no such thing as happiness, only lesser shades of melancholy. i guess i'm back to being a sentimental cynic
