bohol trip - day 1, part 2 of 3

As stated in my previous post, we had lunch at the floating restaurant cruising Loboc River, or most commonly known as the Loboc River Cruise, a must activity when you visit Bohol. Us at the entrance to the ferries, we arrived early for lunch since we're already famished =)

as you can see in the photo we're the first one to arrive, the ferry was fully booked at the time but we didnt wait for the other guests to arrived, we asked the waiters if we can start eating already, and they allowed us (this is buffet so we're like the first to eat and i guess the last guest to eat, hahahaha ganun katakaw!)

sorry no photos of the food, their fried chicken is very delicious and the fish fillet as well. i love their mango and even though the bagoong is colored bloody red it was delicious

as y'all know the cruise have a singer and this old man sings well, from elvis to beatles, dang he's good =)

nice view eh? its just that the water looks muddy, not sure if its color is really like that or it just rained the previous day

another ferry going back to the station

still going upstream

we stopped at this ati tribe area, there are locals who are dressed as ati - atihan i guess and they do beat the drum as if in a ritual or something

these kids are cute

there's also this guy who showed his arrow shooting skills

our trip back, the singer singing moon river (my requested song, he was like asking the audience to request for songs and when i asked him to sing my fave song he was like matatanda na pala kayo hahahaha)

after the sleepy song he proceed on singing groovy songs and this cute old couple danced away =) sweetness!
a preview of my post tomorrow, you'll see the beautiful beach =)

to be continued....

Hahaha!! Been there but you gave a nice story! There's actually that waterfalls by the end of the cruise where they turn around. Also, if you notice, the water is green as ever - sign that it's clean and we talk to them, they actually clean the river themselves kasi nga kung ano ano daw inaanod! Love that place!

How far was the distance covered and how long was the boat trip? Any interesting things you see along the way? Is the cruise operational year round?

Something we have in common - I love the song Moon River, too! Syempre fan ako ni Audrey Hepburn. Her version to me is the best.

Would really love to visit Bohol. Maybe we'll go there in December. This may kasi short lang ang bakasyon so Manila lang kami.

Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and for the birthday wishes. I am very touched by your thoughtfulness. Sorry for the late reply - as I spent my birthday and the day after painting our new home and didn't come home until past midnight.

Nakikibasa! I am from Bohol. Loboc river is muddy underneath kaya ganyan ang kulay. I'm glad you guys enjoyed your stay. Hope you'll come back again.
