staycation at tune hotels makati

had a staycation at Tune Hotels in makati this weekend, so it was really nice to just stay within the metro on a rainy weekend, kiber kung may bagyo its nice to just lie in bed esp when its raining ayt? =)

besides i enjoyed my first staycation last year sa malate area overlooking manila bay, di ko nga lang na-i-blog before but i also bought that deal from another group buying site. so why not try it againd this time sa makati area naman. at intime naman dahil sa pag-shopping ko ng hello kitty vans. LOL shopping daw heheh kala mo sa malayong bayan nakatira. :)

tune hotels makati just opened last july 17th and im excited kasi bago pa yun mga rooms nila and i've been hearing good reviews from tune hotels abroad, since they are being promoted by air asia, eh alam naman adik ako sa mga airfare seat sale :) and group deals. actually i bought my hotel voucher from ensogo last may for only Php 588 and decided to use it last weekend. didnt realized kaya pala july 17 start ng redemption kasi yun pa lang opening day nila hihihi. had some confusion with the reservation pa since they dont have a telephone number yet and all reservations are coursed through the email. i sent the email reservation on monday, 16 July eh nainip ang lola magwait ng email so i sent them a pm sa facebook account nila the next day asking why wala pa response and forwarded the email request ulet, and ang bilis ng response after ko mag message sa facebook, may reply na email agad na parang nagka-problem at di natuloy ang opening nun 17 july pero after few minutes tumawag na yun reservation manager and asked me to resend the request tapos ayun confeermed ang booking ng lola. i really love establishments who responds immediately pag nag ask ka using social network (airphil express is the best pagdating sa response, twitter or fb active sila)

entrance to the hotel, ongoing pa ang kanilang construction, actually nun pagcheck in ko may nagtatarabho pa sa elevator :) which means  bagong bago pa talaga. anyways medyo di pa alam ng mga taxi drivers yun hotel since bago pa lang sya pero accessible naman yun lugar, malapit lang A Venue and city garden hotel, madaanan mo yun burgos st. and paglabas mo sa kanto may mini gorcery so may mabilhan ng water at alak hehehe. as of now wala pa kasi silang bottled water na pd bilhin sa reception area.

if you would notice bahayan ang kapitbahay ng tune hotel pero okay naman yun place, parang dead end street sya maliit lang street kaya medyo siguro nahirapan si manong driver na hanapin. pero in fairness, kahit bago lang sya ang dami nagchecheck-in at walk in inquiry.

its one thing that tune hotels promotes, you pay less kasi you only pay what you need. but my voucher include 12hour aircon, 24hr wifi connection and cable tv, and towel already. so diba sulit na, and since it was raining even though i've used up the 12hr AC okay pa rin, besides they have automated ceiling fan in the room so hindi pa rin mainit.

 towel and one soap, hehehe i was expecting may kasama man lang kahit tig-1 sachet ng shampoo at conditioner, pero since girl scout ako kompleto ang baon kong toiletries so kiber, ang importante may towel sila dahil bulky magdala ng towel noh :)

 they dont have a closet but a small bar at the corner to hang your clothes, and syempre marami sila advertisement of their other hotels in the philippines. they have 4 already: makati, malate, angeles, and cebu :)

the restroom is clean and okay. though yun room since bago di yata nila nacheck lahat before opening, nagleleak yun hose ng bidet! sayang ang tubig at messy kaya kelangan patayin after gamitin. of course when i checked out ininform ko yun reception area and nilagay ko dun sa comments survey chorva nila. another thing that i dont like is the drainage dun sa shower area, panalo nga yun shower head ang sarap maligo pero yun drainage di kaya yun water, need lakihan or something siguro. 

all in all, since they are still new they need more improvement sa amenities. the staff are nice and accommodating naman so i'd say go and check it out, good deal na rin especially sa mga tiga province na need mag stay overnight or sa mga walang budget pang vacation kaya staycation muna :)
